Vicente Cossio started serving Nayarit-style seafood in his South Bay backyard in 1987, where Mariscos Chente’s became a local legend among the Mexican community. His daughter, Connie Cossio, began as a waitress and soon became Chente’s best cook and right hand at the outlaw restaurant and then at their first brick and mortar in Inglewood. Chente opened a second restaurant and the original location became Coni’Seafood, continuing the tradition started at the Cossio home, serving ceviches, cocktails, seafood guisados and pescado zarandeado, a whole butterflied grilled fish. Today, Connie and her daughter Bianka represent the 2nd and 3rd generation of LA fisrt family of Mexican seafood with their original branch in Inglewood and the newest location in Del Rey.
Coni’Seafood offers the Cossio’s Nayarit-style seafood including ceviches, coctels and tacos de pescado.
